You’re invited…October 31-November1, 2008

Messy! What do you think of when you hear the word “messy”? A young child eating spaghetti, a tug-of-war over a mud pit, bed head, or a teenager’s room? Whatever comes to mind, it makes us smile, laugh, or shake our head in disgust. That is probably how it is with our heavenly Father. We are messy people, who are trying to figure out the cause of all kinds of messes along the way. During the 2008 Ohio Teens for Christ Junior High Convention we want students to know even if they are in a messy state of life, or have created some messes of their own, that God still loves them and wants to help them clean up. Mike Yaconelli, in his book Messy Spirituality, sums it up this way: “May you hear Jesus say ‘I love you’ in your unfinishedness, your incompleteness, your incompetence...in other words, in your particular mess. He’s there, you know.”
So come and join us at the water park, have some fun, meet new friends, and realize we don’t have it all together, but we know someone who does.
